Sadly, there was none of part two of the line above happening in my world last night, but I did rock my arse off at the Weezer show at Roseland.
=W= played a great set, sounded amazing and performed not only new songs off of the just-released "Make Believe" but also most of their classics. I'm pissed that I didn't bring my real camera, because even though pictures were technically not allowed, I am sure I could have gotten away with a few shots, and there were some great photo ops, both of the band and the crowd. Alas, the crappy cam-phone image will have to suffice.
Like I said, the crowd provided almost as much entertainment as the band, from the beefy high school jocks who were all over each other (hot!) and the Long Island meatheads and their carb-face girlfriends standing right in front of us (not hot!)
All in all, a birthday night well spent.
